Horrible nipple pain during and after feeding?

I had the same problem and realized that it was the pump that was causing my to be so sore. To help them heal, do warm compresses, not cold. Neosporin will heal them almost immediately. Just make sure to wipe them off gently before your son nurses. It will get better. Mine bled and just like you, I was in sooo much pain. I thought, how do people do this? I thought I was going to have to quit but my pediatrician told me to stop pumping and it saved me! Neosporin was a life saver too. Good luck and hang in there. xo
