Boyfriend issue?

okay so ive been datin this guy 4 almost a week. But he toldmy friends that he wanted to break up withe me because i act distant. my problem is that ive been through 4 deaths 6 break ups, im heart broken but he dosnt know because he never asked me. so now we broke up. And my bestfriend told me that she likes him. what am i supose to do. i still really like him. But i cant just be like no u cant date him. i feel itas not my place.
